Blepharitis- Most common eye infection | Causes | Treatment is Honey

Blepharitis:

Blepharitis is an inflammation of the eyelids that involves the edges of the eyelids and eyelash hair follicles. Blepharitis is a common and sometimes long-lasting condition that usual affects adults, but also can occur in children as well as some adults too.

Symptoms

Symptoms include:

  • Watery eyes
  • Red eyes
  • A gritty, burning or stinging sensation in the eyes
  • Eyelids that appears greasy
  • Itchy eyelids
  • Red, swollen eyelids
  • Flaking of the skin around the eyes
  • Crusted eyelashes upon awakening
  • Eyelid twitching
  • More frequent blinking
  • Sensitivity to light
  • Eyelashes that grow abnormally (misdirected eyelashes)
  • Loss of eyelashes

Common tests & procedures

Physical examination: Examination of the eye and eyelids.

Swab test: Oil or crust from the eyelid will be swabbed. Swab taken will be analyzed for fungi and for allergy.


Treatments

Many people will suggest to wash your eyes with how water with baby shampoo in it . All this is just waste of time .  I am also a blepharitis patient I cure this using honey drop in my eyes . All you have to do is just put a drop of honey in your each eyes and massage it for about 15 mins and let it be there . Eyes will burn a min or more but after is the most satisficing result . Believe me .
